Our Services

An Integrated Pest Management program from surveillance to adulticiding.

Surveillance

Weekly trapping and larval dipping across the district identify problem areas and disease activity, so treatment is targeted where it's needed.

Larviciding

Treating mosquitoes before they emerge as biting adults is the most effective and lowest-impact control method. Crews treat standing water with bacterial larvicides (Bti, Bs) and IGRs.

Adulticiding (Fogging)

When adult mosquito populations or disease risk rise, ULV (ultra-low-volume) truck-mounted foggers apply EPA-approved adulticides during the cooler evening hours.

Source Reduction & Education

We work with landowners, irrigators, and residents to eliminate standing-water breeding sites — the most durable form of mosquito control.

Disease Surveillance

Mosquito pools are tested for West Nile virus and other arboviruses, with results shared with public health partners.
